Reflexión – Fine Art Photography on High Definition Metal

Reflexión captures a fleeting winter moment in Globe, Arizona through a layered and introspective abstract composition. Photographed from the parking lot of the historic Globe Train Depot, the image does not depict the depot itself, but instead focuses on the nearby Holy Angels Catholic Church—revealed through a melting street puddle. Within the reflection, fallen leaves, soft winter light, and the church’s 1916 architecture come together to create a scene rich in texture, history, and quiet movement.

By shifting perspective and looking downward rather than outward, this piece transforms an everyday moment into something contemplative and unexpected—where reflection becomes the subject, and time feels suspended.

Photographed by Arizona fine art photographer Rich Helmer, this artwork is printed on High Definition Metal for exceptional clarity, depth, and luminous color. By infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum, each print delivers vibrant tones, remarkable detail, and a sleek contemporary finish. The surface is waterproof, scratch-resistant, and designed for lasting beauty.

Each piece includes a float mount hanger, allowing it to suspend approximately 1/2-inch off the wall for a clean, gallery-style presentation.

Available Sizes:
10" x 10"
20" x 20"
30" x 30"

Perfect for living rooms, offices, hallways, and interiors that appreciate history, storytelling, and artistic perspective.

A thoughtful composition where reflection, history, and quiet beauty converge.

Rich Helmer - Arizona Fine Art Photographer

About Rich

Originally from the Chicago suburb of Elgin, Illinois, Rich Helmer's family headed west to Arizona just before his final high school years. Rich became instantly fascinated with the desert southwest. Its renowned grandeur and mysterious energy would profoundly influence his later work, as would the endless beaches of Mexico and Southern California. Rich's sonic creativity and his unorthodox approach to artistic ventures emerged early.

As a primarily self-taught guitarist and songwriter, Rich has never been one to live by a handbook. However, after devoting most of his life to music, he abandoned his true passion and sought a more "realistic" vocation. The decade-long diversion is something that Rich still occasionally laments, but he also knows that the past is just that - the past. Fortunately, Rich decided to dust off his vintage Telecaster and pursue his love of photography, leaving him with little time for regrets.

Rich dares us to consider what possibilities may lie along the less traveled path with humility and purpose. Whether provocative, soul-stirring, inspiring, disconcerting, or some combination of these, the overarching theme in Rich's work is that, for him, the lens is much more than a curved piece of glass; it is a vehicle through which viewers can experience worlds that might have otherwise remained hidden.

Follow his journey.
